As the title of this journal indicates, this journal is a bit late coming. I know that I've made a number of commitments that I have been unable to fulfill but due to recent stresses and issues, I'm going to be taking something of a sabbatical from posting, or rather, trying to create pieces to post. I'd really rather not get too deeply into things (I've been known to rant), but suffice to say my boyfriend and I are going to be moving again, very likely into his mother's house, which is something of a new low for me. My current living conditions have become ... let's say, suboptimal for creating art. Between the frequent midweek parties, unnecessary pet issues (dogs all but abandoned at our house and the loss of one of a pair of kittens), the various vermin issues and the complete lack (opposite, in fact) of financial stability this move was supposed to bring about.

We've all had our ups and downs during our stay, but this situation is deteriorating rapidly. So until I can find a living situation where I'm not completely stressed out and frazzled pretty much all of the time, I'm taking a break from artistic matters. To those of you who I've made commitments to, please understand that my attempts to fulfill those have ended so badly that my art-block has become yet another source of stress, ironically. I want to come through on my promises, and hopefully once I'm settled down again I can try to pick up where I left off.

I request your patience and understanding. I'll still be an online "presence", just ... taking a break from creating art.
